After my first surgery, the tip of my nose was not properly corrected, so it started sagging again and looked blunt. I was stressed every time I looked in the mirror, so this time I found a hospital famous for masculine bulbous nose correction and went in for revision surgery, thinking this would really be the last time. I heard that a man's nose needs to stay straight, unlike a woman's nose, and that the thickness of the alar area and the tissue itself are different, so the approach has to be different too. The reason my first surgery failed was that they did not properly remove the blunt tissue and only placed an implant on top. One thing I learned while going around for consultations is that, surprisingly, many men like me decide to have revision surgery because their masculine bulbous nose correction did not turn out satisfactorily. This time, the surgery was done by thoroughly removing the unnecessary tissue at the tip of the nose and firmly fixing it by tying the cartilage together. Since it was revision surgery, I worried the swelling and bruising would be severe, but fortunately it was not as bad as I expected. One week after surgery, as soon as the splint was removed, even though there was still a lot of swelling left, I could clearly see that the dull-looking tip from before had been fixed. I thought, so this is why everyone goes through the trouble of doing masculine bulbous nose correction again as revision surgery. It has been quite a while since the surgery now, and even when I touch the tip of my nose, it feels comfortable like my own nose and there is no foreign-body sensation at all. Even the columella scar I worried about because it was a revision surgery has healed so well that it is no longer noticeable. If you are suffering emotionally because your first surgery failed, I hope you find a place that can accurately assess your nose tissue condition and operate accordingly. If you want a bridge like mine, I recommend going to a specialist with extensive experience in masculine bulbous nose correction.
