Nose Re-Surgery

Has anyone had revision surgery or cartilage repositioning because nasal cartilage was protruding inside the nose?

It's been 10 years since my nose surgery, and from the beginning the cartilage inside my nose was protruding. There is a round piece of cartilage sticking out about 0.5 cm near the center of the columella. I've just been living with the discomfort, but the tenderness and foreign-body sensation there have gotten so bad that I want to do something about just that cartilage. The original clinic said I would need a revision surgery that even replaces the silicone entirely. I'm planning to get another opinion at other hospitals (GWS, RS). If anyone has had a case where they could simply do a closed procedure to trim or remove the cartilage, or even a full revision, please share
