I had primary surgery with autologous costal cartilage and put in 4.5 mm, but there’s a white round area showing at the tip If possible I’d like to live with it as is, but the shape is pointed too, and I’m worried that as I get older my skin will get thinner and thinner.. When I went in before because there was redness, I asked if it might become inflamed and poke through, and they said the silicone wasn’t placed that far in and that since it was autologous costal cartilage I didn’t need to worry, but should I still go visit a removal-specialty hospital? It’s so stressful.. Did everyone who had tip show-through end up getting surgery??
