Among people who had a nasal support graft, has anyone had a protruding spot between the upper gum and upper lip (the lower end of the columella) that you can feel only with your tongue? It feels a bit hard? When I touch it with my tongue, a spot slightly off center sticks out, and it was like that right after the support was inserted.. So I thought that was the support itself, but it’s only been a few days since the full removal and I can still feel it even after removal The clinic where it was removed said they’d check again after the scar tissue loosens up a bit, so I’m waiting.. but I’m anxious Could it not have been removed properly? Could it be scar tissue? Could the alar cartilage have sagged that way? Has anyone had a similar experience?

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoJul 23 Thinking about nose removal

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoJul 23 Is tip show-through ultimately only fixable with revision or removal??!!
I had primary surgery with autologous costal cartilage and put in 4.5 mm, but there’s a white round area showing at the tip If possible I’d like to live with it as is, but the shape is pointed too, and I’m worried that as I get older my…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoJul 23 Debating whether to remove visible nasal tip cartilage
It’s a nose with no implant, supported by ear cartilage + a mesh graft, but the skin has gotten thinner so the tip is showing roundly, and I’m thinking about removal or revision surgery... Removal clinic 1: on palpation + ultrasound, the…
