I had my first surgery this January, but I’m unhappy with the shape of my nose and I also feel a foreign-body sensation. Especially because my appearance changed so much, I’ve been really stressed and wanted to remove it as quickly as possible. But the people around me almost all said I should get a nose revision, so I started thinking maybe I should do revision surgery instead of removal.
I keep wondering why the fact that my nose feels hard bothers me so much. Is it because I dislike the shape and keep fixating on it, or would I still have noticed it even if the surgery had turned out well? .. If I do revision surgery, I’m worried I’ll still struggle because of the foreign-body sensation, or because I’ll be dissatisfied with the shape again. If I remove it, it would be more comfortable, but I’m worried that if they shave down the dorsal hump a little, it might end up looking worse than my original nose.
Should I start by going to a clinic for a consultation about removal..?
