Hi, I'm writing because I have something to worry about. I had my first nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage in January this year. My nose became higher, and whenever I talked about my awkward-looking nose, I heard "looks like Pinocchio" more often than compliments. My mental state got worse, and I spent all day looking only at my nose, thinking about removal. So I decided to have removal surgery next week. But now that I'm actually about to get back on the operating table, it feels like I'm throwing away the money I worked so hard to save, and since it's been 6 months, I'm starting to wonder if removing it from a nose I've gotten used to is really the right choice. What if I still don't like it after removal? What if it gets even worse? I'm getting more anxious. Is wanting to remove it really the right decision..?
