At death's door

Hello, I'm 2 weeks into recovery after my second rhinoplasty revision. I had nose surgery before, and although it looked higher than I expected, I wanted to communicate with the doctor, but communication wasn't smooth, so I had it removed early at another hospital. After that, my nose became a bit shorter and became asymmetrical. My original nose was naturally high and, if anything, on the long side. But after the early removal, the surgery went wrong (there's another story behind that), and while the side view was fine, from the front it became asymmetrical and the columella got a little shorter, which stressed me out so much that I decided to only remove a little bit of the columella and raise it just a little, to correct the asymmetry. But they made the nose absurdly long, even longer than my original nose, as if they were correcting a contracted nose. I've been agonizing over this nose surgery for years, and it's honestly so hard. My nose looks way too long, from the front and from the side.. Is this really just a matter of waiting? The hospital only keeps telling me to wait. I asked them to just reduce the columella a little, but they made it look like the nostrils can't be seen at all. I had it done at a university hospital. It's so hard. What I want to ask is: if the swelling goes down, will it get shorter? Doesn't the nose usually settle lower once the swelling goes down? And the third and fourth photos are from my first surgery. That was my nose at the time, and by my standards the side view looked a little high, but the front view was so nice that it was the nose photos from my first surgery that I really liked. I asked for it to look like those photos, and I went to consultations at least 10 times and said it over and over and emphasized it, but it's so different. It's way too long. The fifth photo is my nose just before this surgery.
