I went through consultations at ㅊㅁ starting last year and kept debating it. This year I went to ㅍㄹㅁ.ㅅㅇ for a consultation, and because I wanted another consultation after that, I went to ㅅㅇ once more. I kept reading posts from this community and, after a lot of back and forth, finally booked ㅅㅇ. The reason I kept hesitating was that this would be my third surgery, so I was worried it might fail again and that I'd be throwing away my money. But everyone kept telling me to get the entire nose removed, so I made the decision!!!!
For now, I've had two surgeries on my nose. It only has silicone in the bridge and ear cartilage in the tip. After the first surgery, I bumped it against someone's elbow, and it gradually became crooked. Even after the revision surgery, the crookedness was still visible..
The director at ㅅㅇ is a bit brusque, but if you ask questions, he explains things in detail. I liked that the goal of full removal was very clear. I don't have inflammation or contracture, so he said removal shouldn't cause contracture. He said any step-off can only be confirmed once they open it, and if there is one, it can be filled with filler. He said they'll create a new incision line, and when I asked where, he said it would overlap a lot with the current line, so I didn't need to worry. As for nasal packing, he said they wouldn't know for sure until surgery, but as of now they expect it to be in for a week.
What I most want, even while doing the full removal, is to straighten the crooked bridge. He said the silicone had shifted away from the center and was making it look crooked, so once it is removed, the bridge should become straight. My original nose was low, but it was not crooked. He said they would remove all the silicone and ear cartilage and then reposition the cartilage.
I think there will be a lot of people like me, so I'll post a very detailed review on this community. Wait for it, everyone~~~~~ Honestly, I had the guts to get my nose done when I was young.. and now I'm so nervous!!!!😵💫😵💫
