I already had a double eyelid line, but it was just a line, nothing else. It did not look defined, so my eyes looked tired... When I relaxed my eyes, they looked like the pre-op photo above, and I was always forcing my eyes open and lifting my brows. Because of that, my eyes felt very strained and I was starting to get forehead wrinkles, so I decided to have surgery. I hesitated because eye correction seems to be divisive, but when I went in for a consultation, everyone recommended it, so I felt like it was really something I needed and went ahead. I had partial-incision double eyelid surgery, and because I wanted a clear, open line starting from the inner corner, I also had upper canthoplasty and inner canthoplasty. It has been about 2 weeks since the surgery. The swelling is still pretty puffy, and the inner corner of my eyes still feels like it has not fully healed, but opening my eyes has become so much easier Once the inner corner heals well and the swelling goes down, would this count as a success? It still feels awkward and fascinating, so I keep looking in the mirror 🤣
