Recently I had an early removal because of a silicone infection, and the tip of the nose was left in place. Right now it seems like the infection treatment is almost finished. No more pus is coming out, and the redness of the skin and the swelling are gone.
Even when I had the infection, I just hoped the infection itself would be controlled, but the tip of the nose is wrinkling and the skin has developed a step-off.. I asked the hospital about it, but they said it could be because of the infection, and that they would do an AS after 6 months, so just wait.
I can't tell whether it's scar tissue, whether it will improve with time, or whether it will get even more wrinkled. I feel like I'm losing my mind lol But I'm also at a loss as to how I'm supposed to endure 6 months looking like this. Would it be better to go to a reconstructive surgery hospital?
