First of all, this wasn't even my first surgery, nor my second revision, but my third... and my hump nose still wasn't corrected, and my long nose still wasn't corrected, so I was really stressed. I thought nose surgery gets more damaging the more you open it, and that it is a surgery that never fully satisfies you, so I gave up and thought I should just live with it. Then about two years ago I saw Instagram Reels and my desire for plastic surgery came back lolllll. Still, I chose carefully and went around consulting clinics. The consultation order was coordinator > surgeon > coordinator. The thing I remember most is that the consultation time was really long, and I felt like I was being treated well. The coordinator's tone seemed very gentle, and the surgeon also looked confident, which made me decide to go through with surgery. I really wanted a pretty nose and a sharply defined nose, but as someone who was on my third surgery, I just wanted at least the hump to be corrected properly. Right up until just before surgery, I kept grabbing the surgeon and venting, asking them to please make sure it was done properly lol. After surgery, until the day the splint came off, I kept buying swelling medicine from the pharmacy and walking 10,000 steps a day. Thanks to that, I had almost no swelling or bruising either. (I bought New*in at the pharmacy and kept taking it regularly; the effect was clearly visible.) The result is honestly very satisfying.. It came out even better than I expected. I like the line, and the tip detail has been brought out without being too sharp, and they really did a great job with a polished line. At the same time, I also felt a kind of disorientation thinking about how I had come this far out of the way, how I had struggled all this time, and how I had opened my nose three times already.. Was it because I got greedy during my first surgery? Was it because I only realized my own aesthetic preferences late? I have a lot of regret about the past, and I kept thinking about how things would have been if I had had surgery here from the start. Either way, even now, a year and a half later, the tip still has not drooped and is holding up well, so I wanted to share good information. Writing this also brought back the emotions I struggled with and regretted back then, which is why I ended up writing such a long post haha. Everyone has the look they want, but if you do not get too greedy and choose surgery with the mindset of only fixing your own flaws and not more, not less, you will suffer much less mentally. (+ the satisfaction with the result will probably go up too?) Thanks to that, I met a good hospital and a good surgeon, and even now I live with gratitude toward the surgeon! If anyone else has a case like mine, try going for a consultation here at least once. Thanks for reading my long post!
