I wasn't someone who was extremely stressed about my nose, but whenever I took photos, my nose was always a disappointment Especially my arrow nose... that was really my biggest concern Even when I was just relaxing, the tip of my nose sat a little low, and when I smiled it got even worse! When I smiled, the corners of my mouth went up, and the tip of my nose dropped along with them, so the arrow nose stood out even more In selfies, there were days when it looked okay, but when I saw photos taken by other people, I was honestly shocked From the front, the tip looked droopy, and from the side, the arrow nose stood out even more Also, I inherited my dad's broad nose, so the tip was round and blunt! Since my dad is a man, it looked okay on him, but on me it felt like it didn't suit my face, which made me even more stressed Because the tip was blunt and also dropped downward, my nose looked bigger and more stuffy, so it was a subtle complex for me The hump wasn't that severe, but every time I looked at my side profile it bothered me, and it didn't feel like a smooth line from the bridge to the tip; there was a little bump in the middle? I kept noticing things like that! It was really a period when I got so fixated that I would take photos, zoom in, and keep staring only at my nose I had thought about surgery from before, but while I was working I had no time and was scared, so I kept putting it off. After quitting my job, I finally had some free time, so I started going to consultations! I visited several places, and after consulting with Director Choo Seong-cheol at D-Day, I decided on surgery haha What I wanted wasn't a flashy nose, but just a natural correction of the arrow nose and broad nose feel. I also thought a lot about whether to use ear cartilage, but I went with ear cartilage because I wanted the tip to be supported naturally! Since it was my own cartilage, it also felt a bit more psychologically comfortable, and I didn't want the tip to become too artificially sharp When the splint first came off after surgery, honestly I felt a bit awkward because of the swelling! I thought, Huh...? It's higher than I expected...? but now that I look at it, I think it was just swelling Now I'm at 2 weeks, and the major swelling has gone down a lot, but there is still some residual swelling! The tip especially still feels puffy and firm. Still, compared to before surgery, the arrow-nose feeling has definitely been reduced a lot Before, when I smiled, the tip looked like it dropped more, and I didn't want to take photos, but now that feeling is much less, and my side profile also feels softer as the hump has been smoothed out! From the front, the broad-nose feeling seems to have been reduced a bit too. Of course, it's still only 2 weeks, so it's way too early to evaluate the result, so I'm just waiting comfortably haha I heard nose-tip swelling lasts a long time after nose surgery, so I'm going to keep watching it! I hope this helps even a little for people who, like me, were worried about a broad nose + arrow nose + hump!! I was also someone who searched through tons of community reviews before deciding on surgery
