It has been 2 months since I had nose surgery at Between Plastic Surgery. I had the operation with Director Lee Ji-hwan using the septum, right ear cartilage, and a custom implant (3 mm). So far I have had no side effects, and the shape I expected right after surgery has been maintained well, so I am very satisfied without any major regrets. Personally, I think the 2-week mark was when my nose looked the highest and most dramatic. There was still some swelling left, so it was the period when my nose looked the most elevated and prominent. Then after 1 month, my nose changed a lot compared with week 2, and as the swelling went down, a line like a boundary appeared between the nostrils and the nose. That shape looked somewhat unnatural, so I was worried a lot that the nose might stay fixed like that. Fortunately, as the swelling kept going down, that boundary-like unnatural look also disappeared. It has now been 2 months since surgery, and compared with the 1-month mark, the boundary I mentioned is definitely no longer visible and the nose shape has become more natural. I still have more recovery time left, but for now I am going through each day thinking I made the right choice by getting nose surgery.
