Reason I decided to get nose surgery) I had a truly classic bulbous nose, and while my other features were not unattractive, my nose made the rest of my face feel somehow not fully balanced. I had been consistently thinking about wanting nose surgery since high school. Especially in photos, the tip of my nose had almost no presence, so I always used Meitu and edited just the nose tip with touch-up tools. Even though it was my first nose surgery, I was very careful in looking into it, and I visited many clinics in person to compare. Surgery info and consultation experience) I used a custom Inofit implant 3.5 mm + septal cartilage + donated rib cartilage. Since I was terrified of infection and contracture, I wanted a custom implant even if it cost a bit more. Rather than making it look exaggeratedly tall, they set the plan to suit my facial proportions and focused on making the tip line look pretty, with the goal of improving the bulbous nose and refining the tip. Honestly, I only looked at the line of the nose.. I didn't know much about materials, but they explained what was good about each option and the pros and cons, which helped me a lot in deciding on the materials. Surgery experience) Before surgery, I was honestly so scared because it was my first one, but the coordinator took great care of me, so I was at least less tense. Once the day actually came, I was hungry and just wanted the surgery to be over quickly. After surgery, I woke up on the recovery-room bed, and it took about 30 to 40 minutes from the anesthesia wearing off until I was fully clear-headed. At one point I got up because I thought the anesthesia had worn off completely, but I was more dizzy and unsteady than I expected, so I was made to lie back down and rest a bit more before leaving... Just like in reviews, once I came to my senses, I immediately wanted water, but even when I drank and drank, the thirst didn't really go away. Other) They also gave me products for preventing side effects, like an inflammation-prevention spray, and since they said it was good, I used it as instructed. Maybe because of that, I haven't had any side effects at all so far. It's been about a year now, and I think by around the 6-month mark even the last bit of swelling was gone. I really wanted the swelling to go down quickly, so I kept drinking pumpkin juice and walking... Even in winter I went out and walked for 30 minutes... haha. It's definitely true that surgery is the answer for a nose.. The feeling of the nose looking spread out from the front dropped a lot, and once the tip became a point of focus, the overall mood when putting on makeup felt completely different. Even heavy contouring makes the nose look higher!
