It has been some time since I had my nose revision with autologous costal cartilage, and the tip is staying rounded and pretty. I was really stressed because of the asymmetry from my first surgery, but after getting correction at Itsby Clinic, the left and right nostrils are now almost even. Since it was a revision, I was more nervous, but looking at the result, it feels even better than my first surgery. My alae also look smaller than before, so from the front my nose looks smaller too. I guess you could say my face looks more lively? Before, my face looked a bit flat because of my nose, but now my contours feel much more defined. When I take selfies and compare them with before, I end up smiling without meaning to lol. Since it was a revision, the swelling did last a bit longer, but as it went down, the tip shape became even clearer, so the wait did not feel wasted. The tip stays neat without being pressed down or spreading out, so now I actually like looking in the mirror. I would recommend autologous costal cartilage to people who are considering revision surgery. Even the nostril shape became prettier, which is surprising, and because the asymmetry was corrected, I can take front-facing photos comfortably now. The best part is that I no longer feel stressed about my nose.
