1 month review of nose surgery with costal cartilage

My nose was wide and spread out, especially when I smiled, and that had always stressed me out. But I also did not want an image that changed too drastically, so I visited a lot of clinics looking for one with a conservative approach and good aesthetics. Then I found [Clinic A]. During my rhinoplasty consultation, Director Kim Hyun-ju designed the nose in a way that was harmonious and conservative, matching the look I wanted. After thinking about it that evening, I decided to book the surgery on the consultation day itself. The cost was on the higher side, but unlike other hospitals, there were no disqualifying issues, and above all I trusted that they handled autologous costal cartilage as one of their main specialties! I am quite sensitive to pain, but the pain at the rib cartilage harvest site was much less than what people who had surgery at other clinics described. The nose surgery included treatment for two rhinitis issues, silicone for the bridge, autologous costal cartilage for the tip, and nostril reduction. They also corrected the part on the right side that gave a hooked-nose impression. Honestly, I had a lot of doubts about nostril reduction until the very end, but in the end I am really glad I did it haha. At the first consultation, they said it might not be necessary because they were only trying to reduce the spread, but while waiting for surgery I started to want more improvement from the front view, so on the surgery day, after enough discussion during the design process, I went ahead with it based on the director's recommendation. Improving the front view was more important than the side profile, and because my nostrils were so large and wide, I would have been in big trouble if I had not done it.. T_T I was also very satisfied with the aftercare. Since I had rhinitis surgery at the same time, the inside of my nose felt very blocked, and because of a slight pooling of silicone, I got worried and contacted them often late at night, but Manager An Hyun-ju always responded kindly and handled everything well. For aftercare, I visited for checkups, laser treatment, and IV treatment, and every time I came to the clinic the staff always greeted me warmly and helped me. I do not remember the names of the other staff members? Managers? exactly, but I was very grateful that everyone treated me kindly. The nurses also gave swelling injections gently so they would not hurt, and they were very quick, which I liked a lot. And because my skin is thin and sensitive, I often asked about scar ointment and care methods, and they explained things according to the month of recovery while checking my condition, so I trusted them. There is still some minor swelling at the tip, so sometimes it looks asymmetrical, and the inside of the nose is still recovering and swollen, but I think by the 3-month mark the stuffiness inside the nose will ease and the shape itself will become even more natural.
