Nose Re-Surgery

Removing autologous costal cartilage because the shape is off

Because of the shape, I am looking into removing the entire nose that was built only with autologous costal cartilage.

But after looking into it, I found that total removal needs to be approached carefully. Some people say not to remove it and just have a revision instead... But if I revise it and it turns out strange again, I feel like I still would not want to leave anything inside my nose. T_T

I heard that if you remove all the autologous costal cartilage, adhesion can cause the columella to pull upward or the nose to collapse... I was told it is my own tissue so it does not get absorbed, but I guess absorption and adhesion are different things... I do not know. If anyone knows about removing autologous costal cartilage, could you share?

There are not many reviews about removing autologous costal cartilage T_T
