I went to the hospital today for a consultation about facial contouring, and it was a place where dermatology, dentistry, and plastic surgery are all treated together. After first talking with the coordinator about the areas I was worried about, I had a CT scan done (the scan cost 15,000 won), and then I consulted with the doctor. He answered my questions well enough, but I wanted a more concrete explanation of what my appearance would look like after surgery, or something like how much effect I could expect from Photoshop, but he only said he would put in as much as possible and had a relaxed expression, which was somehow disappointing. The coordinator kept emphasizing that they had over 10,000 cases with no accidents, and saying that if I was going to have surgery, it would be better to set the date right away, which felt too pushy and not very good.
