I had nose surgery with silicone and ear cartilage. The sedation was almost about to take effect but didn't, so I was practically given local anesthetic injections while fully awake.. I could hear every sound throughout the surgery. Some people may have had a good experience, but I developed complications one year after the surgery and had the implant removed and underwent revision surgery at another hospital.
