I got orthodontic treatment at H.S. Dental Clinic.
During the first consultation, the director said that, due to characteristics common among Koreans, my mouth protruded forward,
and that with orthodontic treatment, they could make my mouth recede like a Westerner’s.
They recommended removing 4 canines from the upper and lower teeth.
After extracting 4 teeth and doing orthodontic treatment, my mouth really did go in slightly.
After 2 years, they removed the braces and gave me clear retainers, telling me to wear them while sleeping.
But because it was bothersome, I wore them on and off, and later my teeth shifted a little, so I kind of regret it.
There is still a retainer left behind my lower teeth. If anyone knows when this can be removed, I’d appreciate it if you let me know in the comments.
