I had surgery yesterday!!! I don’t know the result yet, but the doctor was kind. They carefully shaped the line, and the surgery felt like it went a little long, but I could feel they were focused on the operation until the very end. Because it was done under local anesthesia, I was fully awake and there was the smell of burning skin, so I was really scared, but they kept reassuring me, saying it was almost done and it went well. Also, because it was local anesthesia, while the surgery was going on they told me what was being done to my eye, that they were removing stitches from a previous surgery, removing fat, and that there was inflammation there, so it was nice to know exactly what was being done to my eye.
I was nervous because I had heard so many people say the nurses were rude, but everyone was kinder than I expected.
The manager also explains things well even if I keep asking about things I don’t know!
I like that there was no hard selling! They hadn’t originally said anything about giving a swelling shot, but after surgery they said I seemed to swell a lot and just gave me one without making a fuss!
I’ll continue after I remove the stitches!
