At the start of the consultation I told him what I wanted, and the director first checked whether I could breathe normally through my nose and whether the columella was clean. I tend to get sick easily, so I liked that he looked at the functional side first and examined those things carefully. Of all the places I’ve been to, this one felt like it only recommended the surgery that was truly necessary, and from the explanation it seemed like the surgical method was the safest among the places I visited, and like he was the most confident about the outcome. At other clinics, if they pointed out only what was a bit wrong in terms of shape, here they pointed out the beautiful parts and consulted in a way that felt like they were building harmony around that. I felt they had a really deep understanding of the face, not just the nose, and the line they drew was beautiful and natural, but if I had one concern, I wish they had answered more of my questions about the surgical method. There was a bit of a 'just trust me' feeling. Aftercare was basically just coming home after the procedure and coming back for a checkup, and they said that during surgery they would graft fat-derived stem cells (?) so scar tissue would not form easily. The consultation was long, and I felt there was no place among the clinics I visited with a deeper overall understanding of the face than here. They did not pressure me at all about the deposit or anything else, and said it would be fine not to do it, to think it over carefully, and to reserve only if I wanted to. I’m considering doing it here, but I’m a little worried about the longevity of autologous dermis and ear cartilage.
