First of all, after mostly consulting at hospitals clustered around Gangnam and Apgujeong, it felt new to go to Jamsil. The interior was big and nice. I had heard that Dr. Min was famous for noses, so I was looking forward to it. I have consulted at many places, but this was the only place that said I absolutely had to have a nasal bone osteotomy.. My face is on the thin and long side, so other hospitals told me that if I had a nasal osteotomy, it would make my face look even longer and that I did not need it. But Dr. Min said I absolutely had to do it, so I was not sure. Still, I thought maybe it made sense because if you do a nasal osteotomy, the nose looks slimmer from the front and maybe prettier.
However, the consultation, both from Dr. Min and from the consultation manager, was extremely... insincere. Especially the consultation manager, maybe because she thought I would not do it here..? She just repeated what the doctor said, told me the price, and gave the feeling of trying to send me away quickly.
When I said I had consulted at many hospitals, they said that consulting too much makes it harder to choose and can end up making you not do it at all... lol And that people who decide on surgery right after looking at only a few places or one place tend to do better lololol They also said people who have consulted a lot tend to be somewhat dissatisfied with the results lol I somehow felt bad about that lolololol So I started wondering if I should just say I had not had many consultations when I talk to other places.
