I had a consultation with Director Do about eye revision surgery. Unlike other hospitals, I liked that before the consultation they took detailed photos of my eyes and looked at them together with me. They explained that my eyes are difficult to operate on, and even drew diagrams to make the anatomy easier to understand. I liked that they said this is a difficult eye and that it will not change dramatically after surgery, and that they clearly told me what they can and cannot do. But when the doctor said that living like this is not so bad, it felt like he lacked confidence. In the end, it sounded like he did not want to operate on difficult cases, so I did not really gain much trust in the doctor. The counselor was consistently condescending, so I think that needs improvement.
