I had surgery about 10 years ago. In the end, I wasn't very satisfied. My face did lose a little fat compared to before the surgery, but when I went back after the first surgery because the effect was so weak, the clinic gave me a free touch-up (they were a bit unfriendly during the revision surgery). My chin fat is almost the same as before, but the doctor did say that depending on the salivary glands and the submental skin tissue, the jawline may not come out clearly. There weren't any major side effects, but since I was poked twice with a liposuction needle in the chin area, I have a bit of scar tissue there. It doesn't bother me too much, though..
