I suddenly started feeling contracture, so I carefully compared clinics that were especially experienced in reconstruction, including the directors’ careers. After looking into several places, I narrowed the consultations down to this clinic and one other. The director seemed eager to listen to my needs, so I asked all kinds of questions. The explanations were extremely detailed, and there was no pressure to impose a particular style. Since reconstruction for the contracture is my top priority this time, I’m trying to let go of wanting a dramatic line and focus on returning to a natural appearance. I also liked that the director seemed to pursue natural lines rather than a flashy, high bridge. They explained what they consider important during reconstruction, so I was quite satisfied with the consultation itself. I still plan to compare one more place before deciding, but I continue to deliberate because I also trust this director.
