This is supposed to be a review... but I have a real dilemma, so I am writing. A few months ago, my sister had under-eye fat repositioning with Dr. Gong Yoo-taek at INIK. Honestly, at our age I thought it was a waste of money and wondered if concealer would not be enough, lol. But after seeing her result, I am really tempted. She originally had fairly severe dark circles, and the fat under her eyes was extremely prominent. I have some too, perhaps because it is genetic, but hers was worse! At some point she decided she needed the procedure and asked me to go with her on surgery day. I went, saw her come out after surgery, and watched her recovery beside her. Ah... now I really want it, lol. Among the things that made me hesitate about under-eye fat repositioning, cost and effectiveness were factors, but the long recovery period was also a drawback. In my sister’s case, there was not much swelling or bruising from the day of surgery; she just wore glasses for about a week and then recovered. Her under-eye area became much brighter. Normally, and especially without makeup, her expression looked very dark and that was the overall mood of her face. These days she looks much brighter. Her personality even seems brighter too. When I asked, she said INIK has a relatively fast recovery period. I am seriously considering whether I should have the surgery too. Would it be better to do it...? Sigh, T_T
