I decided to get double-eyelid surgery because my crease kept disappearing and the two sides were uneven. I was also concerned that my eyes looked cramped, and people sometimes said my eyes looked long and that double-eyelid surgery would make a huge difference, haha. I had surgery with Dr. Moon Ye-seul at Wannabe. During my first consultation, the doctor and coordinator explained everything carefully, which I really liked. I wanted either a semi-out crease visible from the inner corner or an in-out crease, preferred natural adhesion over an incision, and said I did not want ptosis correction. But they said a thin crease would suit my eyes better than simply making it thick. They recommended in-out rather than semi-out, so I chose in-out, and I think I made the right choice! My eyes became naturally larger, and there was little swelling, so daily life was not inconvenient. I was extremely worried before surgery, but it was good that it did not hurt much or bruise as much as I feared. People around me say it looks natural and keep asking where I had it done, haha. At two weeks, almost all the swelling is gone, and I like it even more because it is not burdensome. I knew I had a crease before, but I had never thought of it as thin. Now this crease is also on the thin side, but my previous crease was just a hidden double eyelid and made my face look plain I am glad I had the surgery!
