How does my autologous rib cartilage revision nose look after one week?

Several years had passed since my first surgery, and my biggest stress was that my nostrils were clearly visible from the front. Also, the silicone made the bridge between my eyes too high, giving an obviously operated-on look, and the cartilage showed through at the tip, so I could feel its outline when touching it. The silicone had also shifted slightly to one side, making the left and right look different. I continued to have nasal obstruction, so this time I decided on revision surgery not only to change the shape but also to correct the deviated part. At the consultation, I mentioned my nostrils first, but the surgeon also looked at the height between my eyes and the tip. They explained that the tip was lifted because it lacked support, so extending it slightly forward could make the nostrils less visible. This time, they supported the tip with autologous costal cartilage and covered the visible area with AlloDerm. I also replaced the silicone and decided to lower the bridge height between the eyes. Since the surgical scope became larger because the deviation was corrected too, I was honestly scared beforehand T_T. But at one week, the side view looks better than expected. From the side, the bridge line continues smoothly without an awkward break in the middle, and I can already see a little of the tip extending forward as I wanted. From the front, my nostrils are still slightly visible because there is a lot of swelling, but considering it has only been one week, I feel it is clearly improving compared with my first surgery. The nose itself hurts less than after the first surgery; the area where the autologous rib cartilage was harvested was only slightly stiff. Strangely, my heel hurt more than my nose lol. There is still a lot of overall swelling, so I’m diligently applying warm compresses as the clinic advised. My husband said it looks like a fairy nose and makes my face look smaller lol. There is still quite a lot of swelling, so I can’t yet imagine how it will look once it all goes down. I’m especially curious how much more naturally the bridge between my eyes will settle and how much less visible my nostrils will be from the front. Since it’s only been one week, it seems too early to judge, so I’ll watch the swelling go down for now. I’ll post another review around weeks two or three about how the line changes again :)
