I don't think a doctor being kind or unkind is proportional to surgical skill. Please just take my personal opinion as a reference.
I went for a consultation after hearing that many people get revision surgery with dermis after looking into silicone, Gore-Tex, and other options.
But on the way home, a question mark popped into my head. "A surgery with no implant in the body... if it's this good, why isn't everyone doing it? There must be a reason it hasn't become common..."
After that, I read many posts online about dermis. I gave up on using dermis for my first surgery.
Conclusion 1. Difficulty with removal if revision surgery is needed later 2. Changes in T-zone skin, becoming oilier 3. The nose changes along with weight gain and loss 4. I gave it up because I thought there must be a reason it isn't popular
