Nose Surgery Reviews

Two months since my hump-nose surgery

Before surgery, I thought the only problem with my nose was the hump. But after repeatedly looking at photos taken by others, I realized the middle of my nasal bridge protruded while the tip drooped downward, making my nose look longer and heavier than it really was, T_T. So this time I had my primary rhinoplasty with Director Jung Young-hoon at ID. I was quite sure what I wanted: smooth away the hump, make the tip slender, but avoid an overly dramatic curve, so I asked for a natural straight-to-upturned line. After surgery, what I noticed first was not that my nose was higher, but that the tip no longer looked droopy, lol. I used to feel self-conscious because the tip seemed to drop further whenever I smiled or made expressions, but now that its position is set, my nose looks much lighter. The area where the hump was is not flattened unnaturally; it flows softly from the bridge to the tip, so I’m glad I chose the natural line. This suits my face much better than a completely straight line or a glamorous semi-Barbie line. I also emphasized that I wanted a slender tip, and I like that part too. Before, the drooping tip made my nose look blunt, but now the tip has a defined shape, making the center of my face look clearer. Everyone around me says it looks pretty. This place seems especially trendy and skilled at aesthetics. These days, looking in the mirror every day is genuinely a joy. 🤍
