For my primary surgery, I used silicone + septal cartilage, and I am currently looking into revision surgery.
1. Since I have a small nose + thin skin, there is a limit to how much it can be raised, and they say if it is raised too much, it will show through later... I want the trendy straight-with-slight-curve nose these days (pretty-natural to glamorous), and they recommended costal cartilage (they said ear cartilage and septal cartilage would not provide much improvement in height). In this kind of case, do I also need surgery using autologous costal cartilage? Since there is a limit anyway and it cannot be raised much, I wonder if it would be enough to reuse ear cartilage and septal cartilage to raise it (but the nasal tip will probably droop, right..?) What does everyone think? Has anyone had revision surgery for a case like mine, or is there any advice you can give?
