Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

I worried that double-jaw surgery in my 30s was too late, but I have even completed plate removal~~

Before surgery, I deliberated quite a bit because of my age, but now I am doing well at nine months after receiving double-jaw surgery plus facial contouring surgery from [Clinic A] and [Doctor A]. It began with discomfort from my bite, but after having the plates removed, it really feels like it is almost all over.

To explain what led me to decide on surgery, I originally had an uncomfortable bite, so eating on the left side was difficult, and I gradually started to worry about my protruding lower jaw, which gave me an underbite-like appearance. At first I tried to just live with it, but the bite problem remained uncomfortable and I also kept worrying about my jaw cosmetically, so I decided on double-jaw surgery.

While looking into double-jaw surgery, I read many reviews posted in cosmetic-surgery communities. I became interested after seeing reviews of [Clinic A] and chose it.

Perhaps because I am in my 30s, when I saw people having surgery relatively early, I worried a little that I might be having double-jaw surgery at too late an age. But after actually having the surgery and going through recovery, the reactions around me were so positive that those worries felt unfounded. Recovery also went well and faster than I had feared, which I am grateful for! As time passed, I naturally adjusted to my post-surgery face.

My current appearance seems to have blended naturally into daily life to the point that people around me say they barely remember my old face. At first, double-jaw and contouring surgery sounded very frightening because they are major bone surgeries, and some people around me discouraged me, but now they instead say I did well to have the surgery. haha I am so proud!

I am now entering month nine, and it has already been over three weeks since my plate-removal surgery (pin-removal surgery)! Right after surgery, I was more swollen than expected, so I worried recovery would take as long as the original double-jaw surgery. But unlike the original surgery, the swelling subsided relatively quickly, and I can eat regular meals, so recovery has been much more comfortable! Now that the pins have been removed as well, the double-jaw-surgery process that felt so long truly seems to be coming to an end!!

To everyone preparing for double-jaw surgery, or who has already had it, you can do it!!
