Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

4-Month Review of Double-Jaw Surgery: My Facial Contours Became More Defined After Starting InMode Too

It has already been 4 months since my double-jaw surgery, haha. Time really flies, lol. Even up to the third month, I still felt there was some residual swelling, but lately I can see my facial contours becoming refined once more, so looking in the mirror has become even more enjoyable! Whenever I looked at candid photos of myself, my biggest insecurities were my gummy smile and long face. T_T Those features stood out even more in photos with other people, and at some point I began avoiding taking photos altogether. In my late twenties, I looked back at old photos and realized I had almost none left. That felt so regrettable that I wanted to improve these insecurities with double-jaw surgery before it was too late! When researching clinics, rather than cases involving a protruding lower jaw or facial asymmetry, I looked for many reviews from people like me whose long face and gummy smile had improved. I then came across a similar case operated on by [Doctor A] at [Clinic A], had a consultation, and ultimately decided to proceed, haha. Functional discomfort was less important to me than facial proportions and changes in my appearance after surgery. Considering both safety and aesthetics, I felt it suited my criteria best! In my 3-month review, I wrote that I really wanted a lifting treatment such as InMode, lol. When I visited [Clinic A] last time and asked [Doctor A], I was told it would be fine, so I got InMode right away, haha. I had thought I might need to wait until 6 months, so I was very happy to be able to receive it sooner than expected! Afterwards, my facial contours definitely felt a little more refined. Most of the major swelling had already subsided, but it feels as though the residual swelling in my cheeks and under my chin was refined another time, so my facial contour also looks clearer in photos these days, haha. Acquaintances I had not seen for a while also say my swelling has gone down so much and that my face seems smaller, which made me happy for no reason, lol. I was already highly satisfied because I could see my long face becoming shorter from one week after double-jaw surgery, but at 4 months it feels different again. At first, the most noticeable change was simply the reduction in facial length; now, as the swelling subsides, my overall facial proportions and contours look more distinct, haha. Before, whenever I took photos, I was first concerned about my long face or the gums showing when I smiled, but the stress over those things has truly decreased a lot lately. I am now living almost exactly as I did before surgery, and I can eat comfortably too! First-time acquaintances cannot tell I had surgery at all unless I tell them first, which makes me even more satisfied, haha. Rather than looking obviously like I had double-jaw surgery, it feels like my original face has simply had its overall proportions refined. I think that is what I like most. I plan to have about three InMode sessions for now, so I am looking forward to seeing how my facial contours change further, lol. It is already month 4 and I can still see gradual changes, so I am curious about how much more settled it will be by months 5 and 6! These days, rather than avoiding photos as I used to, I actually want to keep them. Compared with before surgery, I feel that I have really changed a lot, haha.
