When I meet friends after a long time these days, there are often times when they do not recognize me at first, lol. It may sound unbelievable, but it is true... I used to dislike being in front of people or taking photos, but lately I have actually been making plans and meeting friends much more often, haha. It has been about nine months since I had double-jaw surgery with Dr. Shin at [Clinic A], and looking back, I feel that my whole life has changed a lot compared with before the surgery, haha.
Because I grew up being teased about my appearance from childhood, I gradually became introverted. I disliked being in front of others and avoided taking photos a lot. I did not want to keep living with this stress, and I wanted to change, so I ended up having double-jaw surgery and facial contouring surgery together.
Since double-jaw surgery is a major operation, I researched many things while looking for a clinic. I looked up many reviews of [Clinic A] on YouTube and online communities, and I also had a consultation. I felt good during the consultation, so I decided to have surgery there~!
I have now passed the nine-month mark! Meeting lots of friends these days has made me realize for sure how different I am from before, haha. Some friends I had not seen in a long time did not recognize me right away at first, lol. Even friends who initially tried to stop me, as well as people around me, tell me the surgery turned out so well. I feel very happy because so much of the stress I had carried since childhood has been relieved, haha.
I used to feel self-conscious even about meeting people, but these days I often go out with friends and meet many people, and I think I have gained much more confidence than before! Around nine months after double-jaw surgery, everything has become natural without any inconvenience in daily life or activities, and I now have no discomfort at all when eating or speaking, haha. Before surgery, I was so stressed that I even disliked taking photos, but personally, the best thing is being able to live now without being so conscious of that. The nine months of recovery seem to have passed quite quickly, and these days I am simply living my daily life comfortably! Thank you, Dr. Shin!
