I got 600 shots of Thermage FLX last October, and I’m now 5 months post-treatment.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied and highly recommend it.
At dermatology clinics, the representative premium lifting treatments are Ultherapy and Thermage. Ultherapy is for lifting thicker skin, and Thermage is for lifting thinner skin.
People still in their 20s may not really know this yet, but once you start feeling skin aging from your 30s, that’s exactly when it gets risky. The typical signs of aging are that the skin becomes thinner, duller, fine lines don’t go away, and you strongly feel that elasticity is dropping.
I usually take pretty good care of my skin, but I still felt it aging, so I looked into options and ended up getting Thermage. (I’ve tried InMode, Oligio, and things like that, but didn’t really feel much effect, so I just thought I’d close my eyes and try the most expensive one once..)
Whenever you get a Thermage consultation, they always say there isn’t much effect immediately after the procedure, and you can see the effect after 2 to 3 months.
Honestly, for about a month after getting it, I couldn’t even tell whether my skin had improved.
If you look at promotional reviews on Naver blogs, they say their skin got completely better at 2 weeks or 1 month after the procedure, but the principle of Thermage is collagen regeneration in the first place, so you can’t see results that quickly.
But like a lie, starting from the second month, I could clearly feel my skin gaining elasticity.
My skin texture improved, my skin tone somehow got brighter, and most importantly, that distinct feeling of losing elasticity went away a lot.
The fine wrinkles around my eyes and under my eyes disappeared, and my nasolabial folds and the wrinkles that form around my mouth when I smile improved a lot too.
It feels like my skin has a slightly youthful glow??
People around me have told me I look prettier, younger, or that my makeup looks good, and I think it’s probably the Thermage effect.
It hurts a bit while getting it, but I really want to get it again no matter what, even accepting the pain.
The director told me to get it once a year, but honestly, I want to get it again next month...
