It was my first time trying thread lifting, and I feel like my facial contour looks a bit more refined I'm a bit older, so it wasn't extremely dramatic, but I'm still satisfied. It hurt with a tingling, zapping feeling for about two weeks The bruising went away in about a week. If you have the time and budget, I think it's worth trying about once every year or two. For the threads, I had Silhouette Soft and Mint threads mixed together
