Nose Surgery Reviews

Nose surgery review: months 3–4

Nose surgery review: months 3–4! When choosing a clinic, these were the things I considered most important: 1. Not a factory-style clinic; one surgeon only 2. No pressure 3. Pursuit of a natural look 4. Absolutely no side effects; no implant

After setting the things I absolutely wanted to stick to, I had consultations. The consultation involved a CT scan, then meeting with the consultant to talk things over.

Perhaps because there was only one surgeon, there was no pressure. When I said I wanted a natural look, the surgeon consulted with me while looking at my CT images and face!

I went in with high expectations because someone I know was already happy with their hump-nose surgery there, and I scheduled surgery right away. As expected, even after the anesthesia wore off, there was absolutely no pain. At first I wondered if it was because the anesthesia had not worn off yet, but there was still no pain after quite some time, so I thought board-certified plastic surgeons really are different!!

I had heard that the nose and ear-cartilage donor area would hurt too, but it truly did not hurt at all. My thigh, where fat was harvested for fat grafting, has some bruising now and hurts when pressed, but that was pain I could easily endure to become prettier. The swelling was severe only on days 1–3, then it kept going down quickly. People around me can tell my overall vibe has changed, but it looks so natural and satisfying that they do not realize I had nose surgery.

I really did not want complications, so I did not use silicone or a custom implant. I would have been fine with costal cartilage, but I was told ear cartilage would be sufficient, so I had septal cartilage plus ear cartilage, and the hump was refined! It was not severe, but taking profile photos had been really stressful for me... lol

I also had full-face fat grafting at the same time, naturally filling my sunken forehead, nasolabial folds, lateral cheek line, and temples little by little. I think I did a really great thing!!! After nose surgery, the forehead stands out more, and mine turned out pretty, so I have been recommending it to people around me!
