My dorsal hump was not severe, but whenever I took photos, I was always bothered by how my nasal tip looked slightly droopy. I decided on surgery because I wanted a feminine, natural-looking nose. I had also been self-conscious since childhood about my forehead lacking volume, so while having rhinoplasty, I also had forehead fat grafting. For both my nose and fat grafting, it was important not to make overly dramatic changes but to create natural contours. For my nose, the plan was to shave down the hump and raise only the nasal tip slightly; for the fat grafting, I wanted natural volume rather than an overly full forehead. I explained the style I wanted thoroughly, and they proceeded in the direction I wanted, so I was satisfied. Perhaps because autologous costal cartilage was used on the day of surgery, the chest pain bothered me more than my nose. On the first day, it was harder than expected because breathing was difficult and I also had chest pain. But on the second day, after the nasal packing was removed and I could breathe comfortably, I felt much better. After that, recovery seemed faster than I expected. Compared with other areas, the forehead fat grafting initially gave me headaches and a pulling sensation in my head. Perhaps because it is an area where nerves pass through, it was a little uncomfortable at first, but this also gradually improved over time. I was very nervous before entering the operating room, but as I recovered little by little after surgery and saw the natural contour I wanted taking shape, I felt reassured. Above all, I like that rather than my nose and forehead looking obviously altered, my overall impression changed naturally.
