Nose Re-Surgery

Complete removal of a 10-year-old nose surgery (6 months)

Please check my profile for my previous posts, from the removal through my two-and-a-half-month review! I had an emergency same-day complete removal because of discharge and itching inside my nose. It has already been six months! After the removal, I think I spent nearly a week crying. Before the removal, the doctor also scared me by saying deformation would definitely occur. I visited this community every day, worrying that my nose might collapse like Voldemort's, but now I am busy living my real life!

Come to think of it, perhaps I was deliberately making things harder on myself by searching only for negative posts when I did not need to worry that much. I am writing this because I hope everyone will not do what I did! I am also posting photos of my nose now. It is lower than my surgical nose, but it is much prettier than my pre-surgery nose, so I like it! I will never have nose surgery again.

After my nose removal surgery, my depression was at its worst. I thought I could not go on living like that, so I took vitamins, applied Fucidin every day to my nose (on scars and inside), and put lots of moisturizer on my nose. It became so dry that I even used Vaseline. I drank lots of water and also tried downward taping early on after looking it up on YouTube. But I stopped because I disliked the feeling that my nose was being pulled upward by the adhesive when removing the tape. And I exercised! I heard raising body temperature is good for blood circulation. These are the routines I followed while recovering.

I do not think I will have any reason to visit this community again. I am going to truly focus on my inner self rather than my appearance. We really are beautiful people, right? I will live while looking at only good things and eating only good things!
