I got a lot of nose-related information from this community, and when I was struggling badly with surgery-related anxiety before and after the operation, other people's reviews helped me a great deal. I thought I should definitely leave a review once things had settled down for me too, lol.
My original nose was rather short, with a rounded, spread-looking bulbous tip! I was concerned about the side profile too, but the bigger source of stress was how stubby my nasal tip looked from the front.
So before surgery, I clearly decided what I wanted and went to consultations.

I looked up so many reviews in this community using those criteria, and [Clinic A] in particular had a lot of positive feedback, which made me more curious. Still, I went for a consultation because the noses were so much to my taste. After the consultation and surgery, I could understand why so many people said they were satisfied.
Rather than looking only at my desired reference photos and promising to make it exactly like that, the surgeon explained separately what was possible with my current nose and what might actually not suit me if overdone. The design was also extremely meticulous. I was so conflicted after the consultation that I deliberated for a long time, even went back for a second consultation, and then had the surgery. My nasal tip and columella came out exactly in the style I wanted, so I am very satisfied! From the front, the broadly spread appearance of my nasal tip has also decreased greatly compared with before, so I am happy about that too!
I had some nasal congestion even before, and the CT also showed a deviated septum, so it was corrected at the same time as my rhinoplasty. I did not use insurance, but breathing through my nose has become easier than before after surgery, which was an unexpected point of satisfaction too, lol.
To be honest, it would be a lie to say I had no bruising or swelling at all, lol. I think the swelling lasted a very long time, through week 3. My nasal tip looked thicker than I had expected, and my whole face felt swollen, so I really struggled with anxiety then and searched through community reviews nonstop T_T.
But amazingly, at around exactly one month, the major swelling suddenly went down. From then on, the lines of my nasal tip and columella gradually began to show... Now the residual swelling is going down and it is becoming increasingly natural.
Early after surgery, every time I looked in the mirror I wondered whether this was right. But after a month, when I compared before-and-after photos, the short, blunt bulbous-nose look I disliked had clearly been refined a lot, so I think I did well to have it done. I was also someone who got through surgery-related anxiety by reading community reviews, so I am leaving as much detail as possible in case it helps even a little for people deliberating over a short, bulbous nose and prioritizing the frontal result!
