It has been about three months since I had functional rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage. As the swelling has gone down considerably compared with the early stage after rhinoplasty, the shape is gradually settling into a natural appearance. I am also satisfied that the bulbous-nose appearance seen from the front has improved a lot. The blunt look of the nasal tip also seems to be gradually refining over time. Breathing is more comfortable than before surgery, so I am highly satisfied overall. At my recent follow-up, the nasal shape and internal recovery were checked. I was told that recovery is going well and that the residual swelling may go down further over time. It has not fully settled yet, but at three months I can definitely feel that it has become more natural, so I am looking forward to further changes. I am glad I had surgery with Dr. Kim Hyun-joo at [Clinic A], and my recovery has been satisfactory so far.
