I was only planning to get cartilage suturing, but they honestly told me that because my cartilage was not large and my nose had a lot of soft tissue, the result might not be dramatic. Still, it was a closed procedure and the clinic was well known, so I got one more consultation elsewhere before deciding. How did I decide? I decided not to do it... I decided to just live as I am. If my nose had also needed alar reduction, I might have done it instead? I am just going to manage swelling, use contouring to make my nose look a little smaller, and carry on. I also consulted for double-eyelid surgery, and out of five places, this was the only one that did not recommend ptosis correction.
