Before having double-jaw surgery at [Clinic A] this time, I first had facial contouring surgery there. I was satisfied with the result then, so I chose the same place again!! haha. I had contouring surgery with Dr. A at [Clinic A] before, and this time I also had double-jaw surgery with Dr. A~ It has been about one month now. I wanted aesthetic improvement, but I decided on double-jaw surgery because of sleep apnea as well. Before the surgery, I was also concerned about a receding chin, the nasolabial angle, and areas that made my mouth look protrusive, which contouring could not improve. At one month, these aspects seem to have improved a lot, so I am satisfied.
In particular, my girlfriend says my snoring seems much better than before haha. I can also see improvement in the receding chin and protrusive-mouth appearance, so hearing that makes me feel I made the right choice having surgery at [Clinic A] again. I had often seen [Clinic A] on YouTube, and above all, I had already experienced contouring surgery there before double-jaw surgery, with a very good result and no contouring-surgery side effects. So I do not think I needed to deliberate about choosing the clinic this time either. Since I had personally received contouring surgery and was satisfied with the result, I felt I could confidently proceed with double-jaw and contouring surgery as well.
It is only one month since double-jaw surgery, so the swelling feels like it is going down more slowly than I expected. Still, this is a recovery period, and even with swelling remaining, I can clearly see improvements in the protrusive-mouth appearance and receding-chin area, so I am satisfied. I am recovering while looking forward to seeing how my face settles as the swelling decreases further.
