I had surgery on April 3, so it has been exactly five months now. Honestly, the bridge of my nose looks much lower to me (my surgical nose was not particularly high either, so people do not notice). I had the removal after 15 years, and so far I think I like it despite everything. I had all the ear cartilage and silicone removed, and I had cartilage repositioning. Maybe because I took good care of it, the columellar scar is almost nonexistent. (Dermatix Ultra Gel is amazing, not an ad.) I’m cautious about sharing hospital information because it is a life-changing issue, but I hope you choose according to your own convictions. There is no perfect hospital anyway!
