My eyes were originally small and looked sleepy, so I was always concerned about them T_T. Especially in photos, they seemed even smaller and the inner corners looked closed off, so I kept deliberating over double-eyelid surgery and finally decided to do it. Rather than very obvious double eyelids, I wanted my eye shape to become naturally more defined. After looking into several places, I consulted at JT Plastic Surgery, and I liked that they explained in detail which line would suit my eyes. I had incisional double-eyelid surgery + medial canthoplasty! Since it was my first surgery, I was very nervous beforehand, but it seemed to end faster than expected and the pain was more manageable than I had feared. At first there was swelling and my eyes looked unfamiliar, so whenever I looked in the mirror I wondered whether I should not have done it, lol. But as time passed and the swelling went down, I could see the line gradually becoming more natural haha. Especially with medial canthoplasty as well, the closed-off feeling at the inner corners has decreased a lot, and my eye shape seems much more defined than before. I had been disappointed because my double-eyelid line did not form well when applying makeup, but now makeup is much easier and my eyes show well in photos, so I am satisfied haha. At first I worried the line would look too pronounced, but now it is not excessive; it looks natural and pretty just as I wanted!! I deliberated for quite a long time about whether to have surgery, but now I think I did well to go through with it!! I am very satisfied with having incisional double-eyelid surgery and medial canthoplasty together at JT Plastic Surgery T_T haha.
