(It has been so long that I do not remember whether I had upper epicanthoplasty..) When I was in high school, I visited many clinics in Busan. Without even looking at cosmetic-surgery review photos, I simply chose this place because it was the kindest and felt trustworthy during the consultation. (It was when everyone was getting double-eyelid surgery, and quite a few friends had theirs done here.) I originally wanted the common in-out crease, but this surgeon was the only one who firmly said that, because the distance between my eyes and eyebrows was short, I should have an inline crease. After hearing that, the surgeon seemed right, so I chose an inline crease. Still, I asked for the double-eyelid line to be as visible as possible, and they accommodated me. Because the distance between my eyes and eyebrows was so short, for about the first three months my eyes looked very scrunched up from swelling, so I thought the surgery had gone wrong.. Still, they were much better than before, and as I lived normally, all the swelling went down and my eyes became really pretty. I like puppy-like eyes, and I am extremely satisfied because my eyes are really round and, although they have an inline crease, the double-eyelid line is clearly visible (though not as much as an in-out crease). (I do not know how others feel, but personally I am very satisfied.) It has now been about six years, and as my baby fat disappeared, my eyes became even prettier. However, when I look at eyes operated on by this surgeon, there is a distinctive look unique to them, and I think it may not suit everyone.. Looking at people around me who had it done, it feels somewhat different from typical double-eyelid surgery eyes.. The crease line is somewhat pronounced, and the outer end seems closed downward..? (Since the crease line feels somewhat pronounced, perhaps it makes the eyes look more expanded; they look more puppy-like and larger, so I am satisfied.) So there are people whom that look does not suit, but fortunately it suits me very well. If I ever have revision surgery, I plan to have it done here again. The disappointing points are that the outer end of the crease slopes downward and that my double eyelids are uneven. An acquaintance had surgery here, but their double eyelids came undone early and they had revision surgery twice. One side of mine also feels somewhat loosened, but revising it is bothersome and it is not very noticeable, so I have just continued living with it. It has been such a long time that the price has probably risen quite a lot since I had mine done. Also, surgical methods may have advanced or styles may have changed by now. Anyway, I am extremely satisfied with having had double-eyelid surgery here. I am grateful and relieved that the surgeon insisted on an inline crease while still making the crease line reasonably visible. As far as my eyes go, I truly live feeling very pleased with them. - For people with little distance between the eyebrows and eyes, I recommend an inline crease. Because that distance is short, the eyes may look somewhat scrunched up for a few months, so please keep that in mind and do not think it went wrong..! Residual double-eyelid swelling lasts quite a long time. - The crease is visible enough for an inline crease that people around me often do not notice mine is inline, so I would recommend this hospital to people who want an inline crease but also want the double-eyelid line to be somewhat clearly visible.
