I had double-eyelid surgery before, but as time passed, multiple double-eyelid creases developed, so I eventually had revision eyelid surgery T_T. Instead of one clean double-eyelid line, other lines overlapped here and there over time.. It seemed worse when I was not feeling well or was tired, so it bothered me more and more T_T. Since it was a revision, I researched much more than for my first surgery. After looking into several places, I consulted at Dress Plastic Surgery. Rather than simply removing the multiple creases, I thought it would be better to reshape the entire line according to my current eye condition, so we discussed various things during the consultation! I did not necessarily want bigger eyes; I wanted the overlapping lines neatly corrected and my eye shape to look a little more defined. We aligned on that direction during the consultation, and I decided to have revision natural adhesion double-eyelid surgery, non-incisional revision ptosis correction, and revision medial canthoplasty together haha. At first, because of swelling, my eyes looked puffy and the double-eyelid line seemed slightly thicker than I had expected, so I wondered whether it would be okay. I also wondered if they looked more swollen simply because it was a revision. But as time passed and the swelling gradually went down, the line became more refined too! Even last week, it seemed like some residual swelling remained, but now it is definitely more natural than then. Most of all, I love that the multiple double-eyelid creases were neatly corrected! Before, several lines showed even when my eyes were open, which was subtly stressful, but now that is barely visible, so they look much cleaner haha. At first I was worried whether the result would turn out well because it was a revision, but seeing the swelling go down, I am relieved that it seems to be getting better and better T_T. It seems almost settled now, though I wonder whether it will become even more natural with more time haha. Anyway, I am very satisfied!
