Materials used: silicone + autologous costal cartilage Procedures: bulbous nose correction + alar reduction + nasolabial angle correction + columella lowering Reason for surgery: nasal widening, inability to conceal it with makeup, and a very low nose.
This was my first surgery, so I studied up a lot and researched carefully before proceeding. My nostrils became slimmer without an artificially pinched look, and the nasal bridge and tip line look naturally defined. Thanks to that, I no longer have to push aside the foundation I carefully applied just to contour my nose, which is nice. When I cannot tell whether it really turned out well because my old nose was so low, I can just ask people I know. Their reactions have been good.
I will soon go for my final follow-up. Contrary to my concern that the tip might droop within six months, it has been maintaining very well. Let us keep this shape.
