Eye Surgery Considerations

Pop community review

I heard the wait was long, but I waited about five minutes and entered the consultation room before someone who arrived earlier than me. The lobby had far more people waiting, and more foreigners, than any clinic I had visited for consultations. It just seemed factory-like. I only came for a consultation, but I had to show ID, provide my blood type and home address, and sign some consent form. It seems they first discuss the surgery and eye style you want with a coordinator, then consult the assigned doctor accordingly. You cannot choose the doctor. I did not like how much the coordinator intervened before I even met a doctor. They said it would be difficult to achieve the eyes I wanted and did not match me with a doctor, so I left. I could not understand why a coordinator, who is not even needed, recommended other surgeries I did not need and spoke as someone without expertise.
